Yesterday I came across this interesting article on the BBC about how the YouTube community were connecting and supporting both McCain and Obama.
One particular video, entitled ‘Dear Mr Obama’ is the most-viewed election-related video, attracting more than 11 million hits. It’s a very powerful and emotive message which has clearly engaged with a lot of potential voters and did make me stop and think.
Whenever we have our next general election (in the UK), it will be interesting to see how many voters and political parties use online video to spread their message – surely its more ‘green’ and engaging?
