SXSWi LogoSouth by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive is an annual festival in Austin, Texas. Why this city in particular? Two simple facts: It’s nicknamed “Silicon Hills” for its abundance of technology companies and startup culture, and its official slogan, “The Live Music Capital of the World.” Nick Bell, co-founder of Quick.tv, is attending SXSWi spreading the good word about the wonders of interactive web video.

This festival is, to quote the official website, “An incubator of new, cutting-edge technologies, the SXSW Interactive Festival is ground zero for the world’s most creative web developers, designers, bloggers, wireless innovators and new media entrepreneurs.” SXSW runs until Sunday, March 22nd.
